“Ready money”. The total amount of cash that will be injected in to the Kuwaiti economy. It is cash on hand and demand deposits. Cash equivalents are short-term, highly liquid investments that are readily convertible to known amounts of cash and which are subject to an insignificant risk of changes in value.

A non-cash contribution that can be made through the provision of goods or services to an organization by one of its members, valued in monetary terms according to rules agreed upon beforehand by the members of such organization in the statutes or bylaws, and accounted for as part of the member’s contribution to the budget. They are regarded as necessary to carry out the tasks and achieve the goals commonly agreed by the members. They would have to be paid for if they were not provided by a member.

The company’s capital which will be legally approved and registered. It is defined as the worth of the business after the total liabilities owed by a company are subtracted from the total assets. Capital may also be labeled as the equity in a company or as its net assets. Such capital might take the form of tangible or intangible contribution.

Expenses incurred to create future benefits (i.e. acquisition or improve business assets that will last longer than a one year).

The cash available for day-to-day operations of the project. The amount of cash that will be used to operate the business. (Formula: Working Capital = Current Assets – Current Liabilities).

Long-term capital assets that could be used in the production or supply of goods or services such machinery, equipment, building and others. Such assets are usually not traded in the company’s transactions.

Total Investment Value (KWD): The capital expenditure on the purchase of assets such as plants, machinery and equipment for use in the production of other goods and services or to expand existing production activities.
